Holiday 4 Heroes (Peter and Jonette Kessack) was selected as the recipient for the annual voluntary service donor of the year award. Nonperishable ready to eat meals.
Mission Make Merry
During Christmas of 2021, Holiday 4 Heroes sponsored 17 of our families nominated for Christmas Gifts by Social Work.
They Donated more than $50,000 dollars by ensuring those families in need had:
Home decorated for the Holidays
Provided gifts included in their wish list provided
Repaired a vehicle for a Veteran family with car/transportation issues
Provision of other resources required or desired by Veteran Families during the Holidays
Holiday 4 Heroes’ responsiveness, resilience and resourcefulness are so appreciated:
We needed some non-perishable food for some of our Veterans and Mr. Kessack showed up the next day with the items
We were in need of some Survival kits for HUD-VASH on a Friday and Mr. Kessack delivered them on the following Monday morning.
During Christmas, Holiday 4 Heroes found that they could handle 4 additional families and we provided same.
They received the same donations, service and care as the other families.
It has been a true pleasure in dealing the this organization. Thank you to Holiday 4 Heroes and Voluntary Service for the tremendous efforts to Veterans we Serve. <image002.jpg> Joseph M.
